OFFICE HOURS 
Monday thru Friday 8 AM — 6 PM
Saturday 8 AM — 11AM

Patients are seen by appointment and we ask that you call for an appointment so that we may serve you better. We strive to see all acutely ill patients on the day they call.

AFTER HOURS
There is a medical provider on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week. If you have an emergency, call 911. After hours, please call our answering service at (704)873-5661 to reach the provider on call. Please do not use this service for medication refills.

MEDICATION REFILLS
All telephone calls for refills of medications must be done 8 AM - 4 PM Monday thru Friday so that we can have access to your medical record when you call. Except in unusual circumstances, no refills of medications will be provided at other times. No refills of pain or “nerve” medication will be called in after hours.

ALLERGY INJECTIONS
Allergy shots are given 8 AM to 11:30 AM and 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM Monday thru Friday. Patients MUST wait 15 minutes after the injection to be checked for reaction.

APPOINTMENTS
If you are unable to keep your appointment, please notify us as soon as possible This will allow other sick patients to get an appointment as soon as possible.

TELEPHONE CALLS
Telephone messages left for the provider will be answered in a timely manner, typically by the end of the morning or afternoon. Any message that needs to be answered more urgently should be directed to our telephone triage nurse.

CHRONIC DISEASE CARE
Dealing with diseases such as diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure requires a partnership between the patient and the provider. Please make and keep your follow up appointments consistently.

INSURANCE FORMS
Family Care Center will help you file your insurance forms. We do ask that you pay all deductibles and co-pays at the time of your visit. If you are unable to do so, we will work with you to set up a payment plan so that you can receive the treatment that you require.

Please fill out all pertinent information on insurance forms for medical equipment, disability, or other claim forms to help expedite completion of these forms.

HOSPITALIZATION
The providers at Family Care Center have privileges at Frye Regional Medical Center. If admission is needed, arrangements can be made to admit the patient there or at any one of the other surrounding hospitals.
